The task was to create a short film/video of a conversation between two people using continuity. We first had the idea to make more of a story out of the conversation and decided to make it in the horror genre. During the actual conversation we chose to do a medium close-up so that the audience could feel like they are there with the actors. We made sure that we shot footage in order so that the continuity was as good as we could get. Whereas for the conversation scenes we shot the whole conversation in full with one camera angle and then done the same for the other camera angle. The only problems we had during shooting was when people needed to use the elevator so we had to wait for the to use it then call it back up to our level. During editing, the tools that we used were the cut tool and the cross dissolve effect. To edit each clip we just cut it so that it felt perfect going into the next shot. We also wanted so actions in the film to sync up with the audio so to do that we put a marker on the waveform where the beat happened and then one on the footage where the action happened, then synced them up together. We did not encounter any issues during the editing.
